DATA & PRIVACY
Your data.
Your choice.
Delete your SwipeKana account, disconnect a social account, or ask us for help with your data.
Delete your SwipeKana account
In the SwipeKana app, sign in to the account you want to delete, then:
- Open Profile → Settings & privacy.
- Under Your account, choose Delete account.
- Read the confirmation and choose Delete now.
You can choose Export my data in the same section first if you would like a copy.
Deleting your account or the app does not cancel it. Use Manage subscription in the deletion confirmation, or open Apple subscription settings, to manage billing separately.
What this removes
Successful deletion removes your SwipeKana account and its linked saved learning data, account sessions, social connections, submitted social posts and competition entry records. Connected social access tokens and queued welcome emails are removed with the account.
The app also clears that account’s saved data on the current device. If it shows Retry local cleanup, tap it to finish removing local copies. Account deletion needs an internet connection; if it fails, try again or use the support route below.
Support messages and some operational, security, payment-provider or app-store records are handled separately and may remain. A sent email cannot be recalled. If your request includes these records, tell us through support; we will identify what we can remove and explain any required retention. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
Can’t sign in, or need a specific record removed?
Open our support page and choose Send a message. No SwipeKana sign-in is needed to use the form.
- Enter the email address used for your SwipeKana account so we can identify the account and reply.
- Write “Delete my SwipeKana data” and explain whether you want the whole account removed or only specific records.
- For social data, name the platform and your public handle or submitted post link.
Do not include passwords, sign-in codes or access tokens. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. After the form saves your request, keep the SK- reference shown on screen. This is a request for support review, not an automatic deletion confirmation.
Open the support formLearning as a guest?
Guest learning progress stays on your device rather than in a SwipeKana account. Removing the app removes its local guest progress; any device backups are managed separately through your device and backup provider. If you have also submitted a support message, use the form above to request help with that record.
